Organization

OrganizationGROUPE SOS is controled by the statutory bodies of its three founding organizations : Prévention et Soin des Addictions (i.e., Prevention and Treatment of Addictions), Habitat et Soins (i.e., Housing and Care), and Insertion et Alternatives(i.e., Integration and Alternatives).

The General Assemblies of these founding organizations have decision-making powers  and a role of general supervision.

The Board of Directors is responsible for defining the orientations of the founding organizations and that of their subsidiaries, but also for controlling their implementation by the Executive Board.

The Executive Board   

The Executive Board is the national executive body responsible for the implementation of the decisions and guidelines which have been set by the Board of Directors. Its members jointly oversee the activities of the organization and are able to intervene in specific sectors previously determined by the General Assembly. The Executive Board of GROUPE SOS is composed of Jean-Marc Borello (CEO), Nicolas Froissard (vice chairman), Nicolas Hazard (vice-chairman), Sylvie Justin (general manager), Antoine Rouillé d’Orfeuille (general manager), and Eric Balmier (secretary general).

A non-profit organization

All the other organizations that are part of GROUPE SOS are wholly under the control of the three founding organizations, who prioritize the development of the activities of their subsidiaries as opposed to profiting from their commercial activities.
The profits generated by GROUPE SOS are thereby systematically placed in reserve in order to secure future activities, or reinvested into the activity in order to encourage the development of new projects. 

Alliance Gestion

The organizations that form GROUPE SOS have created Alliance Gestion (meaning Management Alliance), an Economic Interest Grouping (EIG).
This EIG helps in optimizing the Group’s management methods and means of action through the pursuit of its advisory and monitoring missions in its various areas of expertise : finance, accounting, human resources, communication, etc.
As it is hierarchically independent, the EIG Alliance Gestion is only accountable to the Board of Directors.
