Behaviour disorders, physical disabilities, sensorial, mental or psychatric disabilities…whatever the case may be, GROUPE SOS adopts a professional approach that is adapted to each individual by adequately ensuring that the needs of both the individual and those of his/her family are fully taken into account.
Guiding persons with disabilities towards maximum autonomy
The various support structures developed by GROUPE SOS provide the most appropriate responses to each specific situation. Our purpose is to guide each individual towards maximum autonomy.
- Occupational centres: structures providing educational support, all-round assistance in the integration process, as well as activities adapted to the needs of each individual.
- Specialized housing centres: facilities for dependent persons and persons with serious chronic neurological pathologies.
- Medico-social services for adults with disabilities: support services providing appropriate amenities for promoting the physical, cognitive and psychological recovery, rehabilitation and social (re-)integration of persons with disabilities.
- Social life support services: a comprehensive and multidisciplinary programme dedicated to helping persons with disabilities to remain in their homes and live as independently and autonomously as possible, but also dedicated to preventing them from being isolated or socially segregated.
Support through employment
GROUPE SOS also runs businesses and enterprises for persons with disabilities, which employs adults with disabilities who were previously recognized as unfit for work in the open labor market and reoriented towards dedicated employment programs by the local and regional offices for disabled persons.
